In our country more than 2 children are sexually abused every hour. Approximately 20,000 cases of child abuse are reported annually in India. And these do not include the cases that go unreported.
Noble Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi today launched “Full Stop”, India’s first national campaign against Child Sexual Abuse organised by the Bachpan Bachao Andolan (“Save The Childhood”) movement. They aim to raise awareness about CSA as well as to empower and educate survivors and child victims and their loved ones.
